Here we go…let’s travel to a beachtown widely recognized, well beloved and equally detested. A Bohemian babe, artistic soul and beach destination where swimming is the last thing you’d want to do— VENICE BEACH!

V ice central of coastal Los Angeles
E ver the tourist trap ya gotta do once
N ightlife here … not advisable to attempt
I talian ice at The Boardwalk—that’s tempting!
C old looks from off folk here— intimidating!
E asy to be entertained— and have disdain for this place!
B eyond the two-mile shoreline, the canals
E voke stark tranquility
A s if you’re in another world,
C omparable to ...even in Italy...
H ate to say it though, this town’s a disgrace!
C ount the homeless encampments, dope busts,
A ggravated assaults and thefts on high—
L oony city policies are to blame!
I nhumanity has long withstood
F ouling ol’ timey beach reputation and name
O n the bright side of VB things though-
R ec center by Boardwalk’s a people-watch must
N arrowing on famed Muscle Beach
I ntrigue never ceases down the walk and each
A lley of this most peculiar neck-of-the-woods!
