Pushing for war is awful
but being normalized somehow,
like Memorial Day promotion
to buy furniture

—Get comfortable with sending
our soldiers into battle
for no just cause
and expect great casualties

—Get cozy with that
as you would plopping
on a plush, pillowy
divan or duvet

—Buy , buy the propaganda!

Ah, no.
Not interested.
Not in store to fall for the sale.
Tough sale. Buh-bye.
