Pray for anti-war sentiment and realization to make a comeback.
Aren’t we tired of war
being pushed on us
as if it were the du jour item
at a restaurant?
“No, no thank you”, we say
and say again. Yet, we can’t escape
getting the grand shpill for war
by warmongers, who are
no different from rehearsed,
verbose waiters talking up
the Tartare special and trotting up
the tart cart to the table.
