Be prepared before you take that next fab trip by securing your electronic devices. Make sure that they are fully prepped before packing. Here are a few things to consider in the pre-stage of your travel planning:
Bring only necessary and protected electronic devices for your trip. Usually this means your mobile phone but also a tablet or small laptop may be desired. Leave your main computing device with highly sensitive data at home
Protect your device physically with RFID blocking /EMF shielding material (protective sleeves, hard covers for devices). Make sure to have strapping features that secure tightly

Install or confirm antivirus software for your devices
Install strong, not easy-to-guess passwords (and keep a good memory of them!)
Remember to bring along an extra charger for each device. Get a universal travel adapter if needed for your destination
