Not just No. 2 pencils and pens,
notebooks and notepads,
envelopes and erasers,
but also ...
that you should not
put up with
doing someone else’s job
and expect something good
for you to come out of it;
that speaking up is not
always beneficial
for your cause;
that, indeed, you have
to lie, cheat and steal
to get to the top
and most often,
higher-ups don’t know
what they’re doing.
