A nheuser Busch HQ, home to baseball’s Cardinals
I ce hockey’s Blues and ol’ digs of football’s Rams
N eat place to catch sports, root for the home team
T ake it easy and crack some brews
L et’s meet up along the Delmar Loop at night
O ver in Carodelet or Laclede’s Landing is more chill
U p on The Hill is ideal for a scrumptious bite
I f daytripping, let’s cruise Route 66 -’long the way
S poon up a concrete custard from Ted Drewes

A lbeit, first in booze and shoes (city homicides too)
I ntegral part of the U.S. nation
N ot hard to miss its magnificent arch
T hat’s tall as it is wide, truth be told
L ove Gateway City grub – toasted ravioli, BBQ,
O pen faced Gerber sandwich w/ Provel cheese
U ltimate dessert in ooey- gooey butter cake
I ndeed I will take that cake and eat it too
S atisfying my sweet tooth and soul
