P retty city parks with sensational recreation
O utstanding planned hiking and biking trails
R easonably easy to explore
T op tier food cart destination
L ove it when the mountain is out
A wesome sunrises and sunsets, no doubt
N eighborhoods on both sides of the Willamette
D ownright (good) weird to the core
O pinion sours on the City of Roses though
R adical gov heads keep mucking things up
E ternal drug and homeless crises are of their doing
G ratuitous random pale ass reveal here is so insane
O verstay of Antifa anarchists is a stain
N evertheless, yeah, this place is so worth a go

Portland has the worst history of racism shoved into its every bed corner and yet there is so much good built into her bed sheets. This was a clever and effective strategy to highlight perceptions versus experience, thank you! I wish the schools here taught students about the historical repetition of racism in Portland as much as they protect, encourage and promote its “(good) weird” (brilliant use of words)!
