Inspired by the song titles of THE DIVISION BELL by Pink Floyd
Commentary:
Poem:
One day I will be WEARING THE INSIDE OUT
Let you know what, how I feel
Wouldn’t that be A GREAT DAY FOR FREEDOM
But now, I’m scared.
Hmmm… maybe I should TAKE IT BACK
Keep it all in again
I don’t know.
Okay enough, I have fared
I’m a mess, I feel dead
But then are the times
You get me COMING BACK TO LIFE
And lovin’ it
Ah, we are POLES APART
You’re way up there.
I am here
You should not go down to me.
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?
Shouldn’t you quit with your HIGH HOPES
give up your luxury beliefs in me,
in us?
Maybe you should leave me alone,
MAROONED,
on my own island,
In lowly CLUSTER ONE
But you don’t.
You KEEP TALKING to me
You stay around, nevertheless.
What more can I say? God bless.
I’m ...LOST FOR WORDS.
