Like a furniture store
love never goes away completely.
It is reintroduced with different names-
but the familiarity and structure
is ever the same
and is with a grand welcome sign.
Our love is like college football
Our love is like college football:
Exhilarating, full of high-spirited antics,
clichèd but cherished…
We go at it hard,
give it our all,
rack up the score big time!
It is open season
with heart, guts and glory
and against this, we hardly put up a defense…
… and, well,
so many place their bets on us.
Some get it right, others far wrong!
Our love and the flower biz
continually,
we reach the peak of triumph
but have slow season
