LONESTAR STATE
Land where dreams and legends lie- and die
On historical note, a contentious turf
Nuttin' like Texas on Earth
Enormous everything- especially ranches
Sheet cake, brisket, chicken fried steak
Tex Mex nachos, Buc-ee's beef jerky
And Tex-Czech Kolaches
Remember the Alamo...forget eatin' light!
State of mind, passion play, Texas is
Take your sweet time to traverse her, day and night
Amarillo by Mornin' from San Antone afternoon
That Texan drawl will make ya swoon
Even make ya wanna marry a cowboy in June!
