they took you away from me
killed my fun
deemed you
‘too dangerous
too rough on the edges
too heavy metal

they were so afraid that with you
i was gonna fall really hard
well, they were right ‘bout that
i fell real hard with you
got real dizzy
as if spinning on the tire swing again
but i didn’t care
i was in love with you
it was crazy fun love
and i enjoyed every juvenile bit of it
