Waxin’ poetic on a town in New Jersey…
H ere is this fine Jersey spot we find
O ld haunts of “Ol’ Blue Eyes”
B locks and blocks of Frank Sinatra lore
O utstanding Italian food joints too
K inda refreshing here as a quick
E scape away from the madhouse that is
N ew York City

Strong name of this town, isn’t it?
An old gateway city of early American immigration
10 minutes from Lower Manhattan by PATH train.
The birthplace of legendary performer Frank Sinatra, who has sold over 150 million recordings
First recorded game of baseball happened here in 1846
Mutz Fest happens here on a yearly basis (recent one was in May ‘25)
(Mutz is for “mozzarella” and is pronouned like “mutts”- “u” said like “uh”)A city memorial dedicated to those who perished from 9/11 who were residents of the town
Stop at The Barlow
Excellent, thorough introduction of Hoboken by Jose. Worth a listen and follow. A stunning gem of a waterfront city, in the shadow of the Manhattan giant

Locals will fight you saying the wrong answer about which is the best Italian deli in town- but I get the feeling Fiore’s is the king of meats and mozz in these parts.

Tenth Street Pizza
Highly reviewed and beloved spot. Out of all of the pizza joints that Dave did in Hoboken this one looks the best to me.
