Going South, by Southwest

Jet us off to our Heartland.
Focus on the plane
and pleasure of the flight
again- not on the plight
of “Saving the Planet”.
Get us safely from A to B
or A to B to C.
Reunite us with family.
Ditch D.E.I. nonsense!
Cease talk of sustainability!
Enough of the excuses
you continuously make.
Enough of the abuses
we’ve had to take.
Get us flying for Goodness sake!
And get back on board, boldly
with golden standard Operations .
Get back to basics.
Head north and steer off
opining on broad “Societal Topics”.
Get back to the fundamental good.
Lead with a genuine Heart.
Reestablish Crew and Customer Relations.
Restructure.
Repair the splitting rupture.
Return to that legendary Hospitality
of the “Peanut Days”.
Abandon your huffy humorless ways
and never, ever leave us stranded
like you did late December of ‘22.
