I get to the very heart of you
despite the monstrous intricacies
you present.
The ironic pleasure
and clear danger
is all mine.
Here I come
to the rescue to do
what others dare not.
No matter day,
no matter night.
Whenever the undertaking
is called upon,
I arrive with my own device
to counter yours.
Why I have pursued this course…
beats me.
Still, meticulously, I manage
to assuage
your alarming sensitivity
with little sweat.
