Where the butt of local jokes
and the stench of cattle
still remain.
Where the baddest of badasses
and best of the blue collar
populate the plain.
Where ranch-style homes
and liquor store sundries
are fairly cheap.
Where the sun scorches
and the rain can hail bullets
many inches deep.
Where there isn't vanity
and suburban insanity
reigning sublime.
Where Richie hailed from
and where we had passed
some hella good times.
