Can We Skip to the Part...?

Can we skip to the part
where propaganda ends,
where we finish our popcorn
and common sense is reborn?

Or to the part when this multi-ring
life circus sideshow ceases?
Time for silly spectacles to be retired.
These acts have gotten tired.

Can we skip to the part,
to that "aha" moment
in which we figure out
this humanity thing?

Or to the part 
when the aliens finally
reveal themselves,
then fly off this crazy Earth?

Can we skip to the part
where evil ones throw in their towel,
go away, occupy hell
and leave the rest of us alone?

And seriously,
can we get to the part
where we realize that
God and Goodness prevail already?
